Laura’s professional focus is on public space design with an emphasis on sustainability, equity, and urban streetscapes. She believes strongly in the power of design to improve lives and shape a more sustainable future. Laura’s work is informed by a background that includes an early career as a research scientist, several years as the owner/operator of a small farm in central New York, and a lifetime of dabbling in fine arts.
